18. októbra 2013 k nám do Nitry zavítal americký profesor Mark Lencho z Whitewater Wisconsinskej univerzity, USA stážujúci v súčasnosti na UKF v Nitre. Pán profesor Lencho nám pútavým spôsobom priblížil Ameriku a americký spôsob zivota. Najprv nám predstavil svoju majú dcéru, dvoch dospelých synov (jeden je gitarista v popovej skupine a druhý basketbalista) a manželku, tiež univerzitnú profesorku, ktorá bola aj Miss krásy… Potom nám predstavil svoj domov.
Nakoniec sa rozbehla živá diskusia, v ktorej pán profesor odpovedal na naše všetečné otázky. Bolo vynikajúce počuť rodilého Američana a vyskúšať si, či rozumieme americkej angličtine. Nakoniec nám pán profesor zapísal milé pozdravy do našich kroník. Želali by sme si takéto besedy častejšie…

On 18th October 2013 we met an American professor Mark Lencho from the Whitewater Wisconsin University, currently on intership at UKF Nitra. Professor Lencho brought closer in an interesting way of the life in America. First, he introduced through interesting videos his little daughter, his two adult sons (one is a guitarist in a pop band, the other is a basketball player), his wife, also a university professor who once was a Miss Beauty… Then he showed us his home.
Finally a vivid discussion started and Mr. Lencho answered our inquistive questions. It was great to hear a native American speaker and to try whether we understand American English. Finally professor Lencho wrote nice greetings into our school chronicle books. We would appreciate very much such discussions more often…
