Dňa 20.11.2014 žiaci III.C predstavili v predstihu (pretože o týždeň nás čakajú celoškolské kolá olympiád) americký sviatok Deň vďakyvzdania. Žiaci pripravili zaujímavú powerpointovú prezentáciu a v tradičnom indiánskom a Pilgrim Fathers´oblečení rozdali vlastnoručne vyrobené moriaky, symboly tohto dňa. Dozvedeli sme sa, že americký prezident každoročne omilostí jedného moriaka v Bielom dome na základe celonárodného online hlasovania…

The students of the class III C presented us on 20th November 2014 in advance (since the next day we are having the school-wide Olympiads) the American holiday of the Thanksgiving Day. The students had prepared an interesting PWP presentation and being in the traditional red Indians and Pilgrim Fathers´ clothing they shared out their own handmade turkeys, the symbols of this day. We have learnt that the American president annually pardons one turkey in the White House on the basis of the national online voting.
